This notice describes the coming soon page and print shop preview at MatchboxMedia.com.
Information you submit
If you join the launch list, we save your email address and signup time to send news about the shop's launch. If you request a quote, we save your name, email, optional company and phone number, print specifications, optional original artwork files, optional mailing lists and column mappings, and any notes you provide so our team can review and respond. Please don't include payment card details or other sensitive information in the notes.
Accounts and carts
If you create an account, we store your name, email, optional company and a protected password hash in private account records. Your password is not stored in plain text. Essential secure cookies keep your account and cart sessions available for up to 14 days. Uploaded artwork and mailing files are stored privately when you add a product to your cart, even before you submit a print request. Requests submitted while signed in are linked to your customer account; guest requests are not claimed simply because an email address matches. Account email verification and password recovery are not yet available in this preview.
Where information goes
These submissions are stored in our private website intake records on our Bluehost hosting account. Quote information may later be transferred into our internal customer and production system to manage your project. Quote requests and launch signups are not sent to an AI service or a print fulfillment provider. Matchbox Forge has its own AI processing choice, described below.
Matchbox Forge and mailing lists
The starter design editor, PNG/JPEG preparation, resolution check, bleed extension and PDF export run in your browser. If you click AI enhancement, your original image is saved privately on Bluehost and processed by our private Helios worker. We retain the original and a separate enhanced version for review. These images are not sent to a cloud AI provider by this enhancement worker. Private enhancement download access expires after 24 hours; records remain private for review and removal requests. If AI generation is enabled and you choose to use it, your design brief is sent to OpenAI to create editable draft copy. You must agree in Matchbox Forge before generation. Do not include recipient lists or sensitive information in design prompts. Mailing lists are kept separately in private quote storage and are not sent to the AI design service. Mailing format checks run locally and are repeated on our server when you submit a quote. They do not verify deliverability or authorize mailing.
Technical services
Our hosting provider may keep routine server access and security logs. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to deliver them, such as your IP address. We use a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit repeated form submissions. The account and cart use essential cookies to keep private sessions available. Matchbox Forge uses an essential, secure private-session cookie to restrict enhancement job and file access to your browser session. The site does not install advertising or analytics cookies.
Your choices
To ask about your information, request removal from the launch list, or request deletion of an unused quote request, email orders@matchboxmedia.com. Include the email address you used and, if applicable, your quote or enhancement reference. We use launch list addresses for launch news; requesting a quote does not add you to that list.
